Can I import my Google Doc?

Yes. Download it as a Word file or a PDF from the File menu, then import it into your campaign.

Can my players still read the notes?

Yes. Share a link to the player wiki. It shows only what has come out at the table, and players don't need an account.

How much does SCRY cost?

The free plan covers one campaign and three recorded sessions. Pro is $15 a month or $150 a year.

Does SCRY work for in-person games?

Not yet. SCRY records Discord voice, so your game needs to run in a Discord voice channel.

Where each one fits

Google Docs

Google Docs is free, already open on most laptops and easy to share. For a one-shot or the first handful of sessions, a single doc with headings does the job.

It suits a DM who enjoys writing the recap and keeps the campaign short enough to scroll.

SCRY

SCRY records your session on Discord and writes a recap and a page for each person, place and thread that came up. The pages link to each other and show the line they came from.

It suits a DM whose doc has passed a dozen sessions and turned into Ctrl+F and guesswork.
